I don't know if you were born before 1957, but I recall when my older brother tried to usher me indoors when I didn't understand the rationale behind his actions when the Danquah/Busia/Domo were engaged in armed opposition to the then Government in power.
You yourself have admitted in your many but shrill writings that the NPP continues the Danquah/Busia/Demo philosophy and modus operandi. But having lived through that period myself, with my apolitical father a victim of that barbaric philosophy merely because of the part of the country he hailed from, I do not trust one bit you and your ilk. Nor am I saying I'm a fan of the NDC either.
But let evidence be adduced to an impartial audience, and I, as a member of that impartial injury, will say, bring those South Africans before the Sanhedrin.

The NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo are and will continue to be at a loss explaining their SA mercenary imports. It is either the lack of confidence in Ghana's security agencies, from the lower levels to upper management, or mistrust in just with the current upper management that motivated the NPP to go the route of seeking training from outsiders. In either case Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP cannot look any wise Ghanaian in the face and tell us that if by a stroke of luck Nana Akufo-Addo should become president he can trust the same security agencies. Oh yes he can replace every last one of upper management with his own but that surely should confirms there are no professional institutions in Ghana but hacks who collect civil service pay and do what the idiot at the time and place tells them to do. But it is the NPP, aka UP/UGCC/Matimeho/dumbo, folks who could not understand why Nkrumah would rely on foreigners to oversee his personal security; it boils down to tribal mistrust and Nkrumah was right again. After all was it not people from other tribes in Ghana's armed forces who chose to engage in an exercise that is reserved for internal security agencies and we live it's fruits today?

Ghana's internal security agencies will be just tools if they should commit to providing security for the NPP party functions or a Nana Akufo-Addo administration. Did the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo think there was anyone to be trusted or qualified in the Ghana internal security agencies to provide training for its select "Tomtom makute" or to provide security? Decision and actions matter and these NPP decisions should be wakeup calls to the wise in Ghana; anything less will not do.
