Would it be wrong for a poor and hungry man/woman to take some or all the money given to him/her to deliver to some other party or to use to perform/finance a task? Is the poor and hungry person supposed to complete the assignment/chore even if the hunger pain is or become unbearable? To ask people not to accept what they get from politicians around election time is to ask Ghanaian voters to be saints and or act Christ-like.

Ghana’s political history or narrative, without a doubt, is that politicians come into office poor as church mice but walk out of the doors of parliament rich with money and properties/assets. It is only a fool who thinks these politicians earn all that money and assets even as they complain to voters their official wages/salaries deserve a boost. As voters and captive citizens we are entitled to take what we can get in a system we help build on tribal preferences and continue to nurture and sustain on lies.
