It is only the NPP and particularly their Akufo-charmed followers who can't see anything wrong about importing mercenaries from SA to come a train their private militia.
Even if the trainers were to be Ghanaians, it would still be criminal because our laws forbid the raising of private armed forces without necessary authorization. And to do this with the aid of foreign trainers only goes to aggravate the criminality. The South African government understands the enormity of the situation and this is what they are demonstrating.
Instead of admitting their error, elements of the NPP are rather trying to justify themselves. Anytime they try to justify themselves, they rather make a mess of themselves as there is little agreement in their various statements.
The truth is that, irrespective of what reason one has to take an action, the action must not be in violation of the law. I don't think the NPP is not aware that security business involving the training in weapons handling is not like any other business. It would have been okay if they had sought clearance from both SA and Ghana governments should they have good reason to have their own armed elements. However, NPP being a party that prides in the self-deception of thinking they are the sole reservoir of knowledge, they will try everything to justify themselves even if it does not make sense. After all, they have a very gullible following.
Already this NPP article sees it to preach how Zuma the SA president is corrupt just because he would not back NPP's awkwardness against a friendly country. What a shame!

A PHD holder writes to inform, educate or criticize constructively. You have obviously proven that you can't your peers., and yes PHD has been cheapen obviously by people like you....... In any case, official documents revealed so far do not support your assertion that the leadership of NPP invited the SA3. That is not what their visa application states. Capt. Koda is not the "Leadership of the NPP".

Come again Prof. Your party has been caught hiding behind certain individuals and organizations to get the SDA3 into the country.

Because South African police have been trained to kill when it comes to crowd control. Go to the days of apartheid – what happened to the likes of Steve Biko? What happened to the protesters in Pietermaritzburg? Throughout the days of apartheid, what were the South African police doing?
