To me, it makes no sense to dwell too much on where a president sat or why he was criticized on his stance on gay rights.
The place he was seated with his entourage was no different from where other dignitaries who address parliament in Scotland are made to sit. Not every country has exalted places for the seating of their leadership. And the kind of criticism he endured is not uncommon in any parliament anywhere in the democratic world. Please check out the debate format in the British House.
It is therefore a sign of extreme inferiority complex that we are so strident about the visit, viewing our conclusion through the prism of a mere picture!
To insinuate that the president was treated thusly (sic)because of his race, color or history is neither here nor there. It is the type of hyperbolic and ungrateful rant for which Nkrumah was well known.(i.e. Kwame Nkrumah nkwaseasem) Nkrumah made ingratitude his stock in trade and imprisoned or murdered all his benefactors. And while trotting on American soil for handouts, he never failed to condemn the country at home using provocative verbiage as that found in this write-up.
Your writing skill should be devoted to useful and beneficial causes, not for stirring up empty propaganda. Nkrumah, his tyrannical legacy, his party, his children and all his descendants are politically dead in Ghana.....You must wake up and shine your eyes!
And while at it, reflect on how you can earn some respect here by refraining from licking Nkrumah's phlegm and calling it ice cream. You are not his lobotomized idiot...yet.
