I hope you had them wrap it up each time you tried to test one of these men.

In another breathe you're judging other women for what in your opinion is "settling" for good-for-nothing men to appease the unbearable demands of today's Ghanaian society. In as much as I'll agree with you that women and their families do their homework on who they decide to get hitched to, I think it's quite rich coming from a woman whose only goal is to find a man that can hit her g-spot anytime, anywhere. First of all, the reason a lot of people takes risk and marry early is simple; the desire for sex is at its highest in young adults so for some instead of jumping from one partner to another they marry. Most of the time it works but at times it doesn't.

It is so unfortunate for the writer to actually use a real example in her write up. What is she trying to achieve here? The guy must have had affairs in the past and so what? Is the writer saying she waiting to marry a virgin? Or she's would only date men who ha not had an affair in the last 2 years? It just so happened that affairs of the man in question had resulted in children what if the women involved had aborted? Would the guy been suitable because no one would have head of the affairs?

Entering into marriage is often a leap of and a work in progress. You can change your partner from good to bad by your own attitude and destroy a good relationship.

I find the writer very strange. What is the message here? Is she a lesbian? Otherwise, what is the message? Gosh!

Marriage is a person opportunity to learn to take care of another person without conditions. The trick is to find out a partner who also unferstahd that marriage is not all pleasure but a rough terrain to prune each other into kind, patient, loving, respectful, and understanding humans. So looking for some great person with all the quality you want is a mirage. Have you considered your partner will also have to work on imperfections in you?

Don't let ignorance deny you a a great man you yourself must prune to what you want. Please get this knowledge from a bad guy who now know and understands this.

My woman stood by me and worked on me. We fought, argued and made up. We kept at it and with kids and time we blossomed into great pals and today other women look at me like this is what kind of man I want but they forget someone worked me out.

What happened in de past belongs to history. And trust me; the lady knew about his past before she decided to marry him. Nothing was a hidden secret. So what's the point? This is the sermon for my daughter: don't settle for rubbish because you think you are growing. Take your time and marry on your own terms.

"no where cool" is the anthem for women who settled for men they otherwise would not marry (rubbish, some men and women are).

Getting a man to sleep with on long term basis (marriage) is not an achievement, It's an avenue to scratch an old itch.

If you settle for a loser, you will carry it for the rest of the marriage.

The truth about Ghana is there are too many beautiful women and half decent in manners and hyginene, but the men are not only physically unattractive, they are filthy and uncouth.

Our young girls have to copulate, and they also need someone to feed them, cloth them, hair them and especially house them, so they have to close their eyes and minds and suck up to this dreadful life God brought upon them. I have observed and still studying the habits of Ghanaian women and how they try to accommodate these filthy fellow citizens. Whenever I pose the question how can you sleep with such filthy men, they all bow their heads and refuse to respond. It is traumatizing to think what they may be thinking. It is almost suicidal to say "to every rule there are exceptions"...we never disappoint. I am a lucky Ghanaian only because I was born with an evil nature to observe and not participate...only luck I have!

Very interesting article, I appreciate the flow, style and even your good English. I wish all women had had that level of ideal such as above, but hey others have waited in vain to realize that real life doesn't begin by what you have epitomized. Life would not be such complex phenomenon if all could start with the perfect and move on. There's one aspect of life you failed to realize in your excellent analysis, that so many perfect and very satisfying situations began as hopeless ones. Nobody married a man knowing well that the man would one day be a president or a great man. The future is always determine by our maker so please let's make allowance for people's imperfect choices. It helps others see and hope for better future. The ring must not be fucked and same as the man. The so called worthless man is an actually an affront to the wisdom of God and let's beware. It may be bad today but great tomorrow and so is the converse. I commend and advise you at the same time. Great work but no so perfect. Humble yourself in the sight of God and he exalt you in due season, so say the bible.
