  Do we have to go far back to Bastiat? Milton Friedman espoused such economic philosophies that were first implemented in Chile under Pinochet. Well, many of us witnessed the murder, torture and imprisonment of a lot of progressives in the course of the Chicago's boys neo-liberal experiment. The basis of such free-hand philosophies is greed. Otabil should stay away from things he does not fully understand. Privatization is the reason we are in such mess in this world. These rich people are all about themselves. They don't even want to pay taxes -- as demonstrated by the Panama papers. Why are private individuals better equipped at delivering economic and social services to us than the government? In this world these days, the government is just an outfit for powerful private individuals to stuff with their agents who marshall public wealth back into private hands. How has the 1 percent of the world population controlling 60 percent of the world's wealth helped mankind? There is more suffering now than there ever has been -- more cuts on education, health, social services -- while there is so much spent on wars and dictatorial structures. Is it a surprise that the youth in America for example are now clamouring for some form of socialism? I don't think Otabil understands very well the country whose system he seems to take a cue. Jesus Christ was no bloody capitalist.

  socialism has failed and crony capitalism is now being practiced. more the privatization more the market competition and cheaper commodities. Jesus Christ was a free market capitalist.
