  Why do you think President Mahama and his party refuse to publicly publish the sources of their election campaign funds?
  
  Ditto the New Patriotic Party?
  
  Politicians criticise each other for being corrupt - but ask yourself why the Bawumias, Kokou Anyidohos, Sammy Awukus and their ilk, don't advocate for all politicians and their spouses to publicly publish their assets before and immediately after their tenures in office?
  
  The clever Bawumias say that passing the right to information bill "will make corruption run away." Some hope.

  Here’s the skin on corruption in Ghana; if you're educated you've been corrupted or on your way to be corrupted. To paraphrase a biblical passage that goes... you saw me hungry and you did not feed me, saw me naked and did not clothe me..." has all the moral implications of the corrupt nature of Ghana's educated.
  
  If the laws enacted are wrong-headed and their enforcement are selective and with prejudice a moral person is obligated to stand up. In Ghana for as long as the educated get their share of the pie the poor and uneducated can take a hike. When the educated happens to come by an abuse of the poor and uneducated by others who should know better they simply stay silent or walk away.
  
  This brings me to the corruption and corruptible tendencies of the NPP and NDC. Either of the two parties take office after claiming the previous office holder and majority party as corrupt. Yet upon taking office the very laws that enable the majority party and their sidekicks to steal and be corrupt are left intact; they become new drivers and managers of very vehicles that will help them steal and be corrupt without remorse. As I have said, if you are educated in Ghana you are more likely to be corrupt than the uneducated poor.

They even rented buses for campaign and to convey non residents on campus to polling stations to vote for them.

  Good article...sometimes i wonder if we really understand the concept of education...i think our society needs re-socialisation to deal with this attitudinal problem...as to why our political parties are interested in the SRC ...
