  To say they have failed is an understatement. They are incompetent. Not up to snuff. Wet behind the ears. Not up to scratch and the few who seems to know a little are just happy to be seen on TV or heard on radio.

  It's lazy to say just "Media." There's lots of radio stations, tv programming, journalists, etc. in Ghana and you name only Vim Lady and Captain Smart. Are you focusing on the media that you disagree with?
  
  Media is only so big and it still needs citizens for input. Where were the Chiefs when a single Chinese person put even a shovel of dirt in our water bodies?

Of course, Chiefs, state functionaries, and certain greedy individuals, in various communities, have also contributed, in no small measure, to the total devastation of our environment; all in their misguided desire to make a fast buck!
