It's very notably that university graduate has nothing much to boast of than the HND grad.the knowledge and handy work is the most important.

I wonder why polytechnic students say this but when they come to the universities, we the shs students do better than them in programs they claim they have HND on. even on the practical field we do better than them on campus.

Any of the polytechnics can train and award PhDs provided it has e facility, staff, curriculum and accreditation. You can change their status to university yet they may not get accreditation to run higher degree programmes for lack of capacity

the best thinker of the first quarter of this year.kudos to you mr writer .. you're a great thinker and with analytic logic.
the sad story of ghana's education system is we don't focus on what graduates can do after graduating , it's all about what certificate one is holding even if they can't do what other holders of same certificates can do elsewhere in the world.
am surprised no body in ghana is talking about the type of technical courses the polytechnics are currently doing and what special additional technical courses their future rank as universities of technology will allow them to do .
i can bet in 5 years times we shall be here complaining about the universities of technology not doing technical courses.
