  He used to boast so much about how great he has become despite his humble background as the son of a night watchman somewhere in a Kete Krachi village and how his lecturers cheated him of a first class honors in journalism school, bla bla bla... Such talk is a turn off for some of us who no longer read him.
  
  I hope he has grown up and learned a little humility which can still take him far...
  
  Good wine needs no bush, and the informed will judge him by his writing, not what he tells people he is.

  The legal profession needs to be properly regulated by a statutorily-mandated professional body with powers to discipline corrupt lawyers. The Ghana Bar Association has filled in the vacuum created by the absence of a statutory body but it lacks the mandate to take disciplinary actions against the bad apples; indeed, it is a voluntary body to which not all lawyers belong.
