And what does it matter to you if he hasn't? You condemn him for being a coward, and then you expect great things of him?

He thinks he is such an important personality in the international community he does not want to concern himself with the task for which he was elected, does not listen to or consult anyone and continually makes mistakes which he blame on Akuffo Addo.
From this day forth that will not be tolerated. He makes his mess, he will get to clean it himself. They have already taken over popular websites and some no longer allow critical articles about this government.
The whole world knows Nana Akuffo Addo was not involved. They can bring anyone they want to make any stament they want. The people are wiseing to all the ploys. That bothers him a lot.

He needn't have put his statement the way he put it as his key message was that Nana Addo was merely informed, but he played subtle politics that insures to the Government's benefit. Let's stop waiting our precious time debating this subterfuge. The Ambassador was simply disingenuous. Period.

You are absolutely right -- the Ambassador knows the standard of comprehension of the Ghanaian media, and he took advantage of it to throw dust into the eyes of the world by using what Cameron Doudu called "weasel words" . The media thrrew words about, in their attempt to @paraphrase@ what the Ambassador said, for very few of them are able to report verbatim remarks, even in this age when smart phones have become tape recorders.
The Ambassador has not done himnselkf any credit. He ought to know that a man like Akufo Addo, who was Foreihgn Minister when the Ambassador was probably a relatively obscure diplomat in the State Department, is not one to try and embarrass in this way.
Yes, Esuon: the Ambassador was being disingenuous. But why? The answer is that the US does not like politicians in developing countries to use their brains. It just wants those who will say, Aye! Aye Sir! whenever Uncle Sam says do this or do that.
Look, in order to bring even as faithful an ally as Angela Merkel to heel, the US National Security Agency bugged her phone! Now, Obama is trying to reassure her that the US respects Germany. But the Germans have already seen exactly what the US thinks of them.
