  I just lost a cousin of mine on the Accra -Asamankese Road.Such Urban road which is the only one which connects Nsawam to all the farming areas where so much food is brought to Accra, has been left so damaged because of Politics. How can one sleep when one knows well he or she is just doing nothing about peoples death when the power is in their hands. Ghanaians should vote for selfless politicians who want to serve the Nation and develop it.

  The country lacks the political will to tackle this issue. People die senseless deaths in road accidents that are easily preventable with the implementation of simple policies. The first step in decreasing the extent of these accidents is to treat vehicular deaths as a public health issue. The government alone cannot reduce road accidents, it will need the involvement and the collaboration of all the stakeholders and the general public. The solution to the problem should emanate from the grassroots level and not a top down solution concocted by the government bureaucracy.
