Dr Bokor is doing more harm than good to Madam Attivor. What is really truthful about what the lady said? If we were all to go on this tangent, most of you will not be able to face us eyeball to eyeball. I hate to do this kind of politicking but Dr Bokor need to be reminded that just as he believes that Ewes suffered under Kufuor, Akans equally suffered under Rawlings and are still suffering under Mahama.
We all remember what happened to the CMB Scholarship back in Rawlings days, what happened at the CEPS, Obuasi Goldfields, military, police service and all other government institutions. The NPP tried to balance the situation by asking some officials to proceed on leave but I agree that one can always debate this act on the basis of morality, but the truth is the NDC under Rawlings and Mahama did practice open tribalism, to the extent that many Ewes surprisingly are today complaining about northerners getting more positions at the expense of Ewes who are the bedrock of the NDC. You only have to come to Ghana and visit any government institution to appreciate what I'm saying. The fortunate thing for Mahama and the NDC is that most people in the NPP and Akans for that matter are not complaining about this phenomenon openly. It is even worse in Kumasi but. from what I gather, the people are happy about this because it has created some awareness among the middle class.
I want to end by urging Dr Bokor to put himself in the shoes of the opposite side as well. It is then that he would appreciate the reactions that are coming from the corners of those he and his colleagues in the NDC are calling hypocrites.

If you think the utterances of Victor Owusu, a long dead politician, is what motivates Ewes then you are lost. I personally could care less, If Ewes continue on that trajectory. What I do really care about is for Akans to realize that Ewes will never like them no matter what. I will continue to stand by my belief that ewes have an ingrained hatred for Akans. I could care less if they are NDC's world bank. After all every political party has a strong base somewhere. Let the tribal games begin and we will see the real loser.

Ask any past student of KNUST in the 70s. Ewes did not mix with other students in the dining rooms. They created tables for themselves in all the halls and if a non Ewe made a mistake of siting their table they would make you feel miserable. If Akans were as inward looking as Ewes they would rule Ghana forever. Thank God Ewes are awakening the Akans from their slumber. Where in the world would a thief be defended just because he is a fellow tribesman ?

The time has come for the country to ditch our constitution and go for a federal system where each region can use their own resources and ingenuity to develop their areas. At this day and age, no region should be a feeding cow. Each region should be allowed to manage their own resources, with the federal government taking the needed taxes as is done in the US. Our country is too divided along tribal lines to exist in a unitary government. The seed of tribal hatred was sown right after independence and nourished through Rawlings regimes. Now every tribe feels threatened and insecure. To coexist, each region should be given some semblance of control over their own destiny. Our unitary system of government was good right after independence almost 60years ago, but has outlived its usefulness now. We are courting a huge disaster in the next few years and I firmly believe that this November elections may be the trigger.

Very interesting reading. Nana Addo's "y3n aknfo' was condemned by many reasonable Ghanaians. Ken Agyapong's remarks on Gas and Ewes was seriously condemned by most people even within the NPP. President Mahama's leadership has brought so much hardships on Ghanaians but, at least, we continue to enjoy peace. Many NDC big wigs continue to defend this tribal nonsense. Am a foolblooded Akan but my very close friends are mostly Northerners and Ewes. I see humanity first, Ghanaians second before this tribal nonsense. If Mahama is incompetent, that has nothing to do with his tribe. Dzifa knows what she has stolen and is more comfortable hiding behind Ewes, Mahama and the NDC. Madam, you cant run faster than your shadow. You may continue to support her by writing out such NONSENSE. That's your style and that's your right. please desist from lumping together Ewes because it is very clear that not all Ewes support your line of thoughts. You may be a very happy person under the present dispensation. For crying out loud, appreciate that we are in a democracy. Not everybody is you. God is watching you.
