  Who in Ghana was expecting anything sensible and of genuine concern to the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian to come from a disgruntled Nana Konadu and the entire Rawlingses? If it is not bitterness what could drive a woman who has enjoyed states sponsored life for well over 20 years? Genuinely, what can this woman offer Ghana with her NDP?

  Mrs. Rawlings is the epitome of all that is wrong with Ghana politics. The failure of Ghana's members of parliament to understand the effects of the all inclusive indemnity clause of the 1992 constitution and the failure of subsequent sitting of parliament and of the Kufour administration not to have amended the constitution continue to give rise to attempts by Mrs. Rawlings to talk a whole lot of nonsense knowing she is free to spew her guile and poison.
  
  The sad truth is that those Ghanaians gripped with fear of the Rawlings family continue to believe in their invincibility which is a farce. The NDC which gave rise to the normalization of the brutality of the Rawlings regime suffers in silence because they are gutless. Kofi Adams was and is a Rawlings plant just as they hope to plant their daughter at the top end of the NDC party. Mrs. Rawlings single handedly has made lies palatable for politicians and foolishness a desired character trait in Ghana; we’ve seen her ills manifest in lots of people in the NPP party leadership positions and in parliament.
  
  We have Mrs. Rawlings to thank for vile attitudes of youth in Ghana; they seem to have also mastered the art of unrepentant foolishness ones far removed from university students in Ghana.
