This is a bare fact due to the high rate of illiteracy and mistrust of our politicians. The next thing they like is 'noko fio', a token for the pocket or stomach.Not the least, they also want with big mouth, someone who can rhetorically lie, make white look like black in the eyes of people.

The fact is the ex minister has stolen a lot of money and she is afraid to go to prison. Her ill conscience is hurting her. If we protect thieves and burglars because of our ethnicity then good night motherland.

A careful analysis of Bawumia's speech helps us to see that he was referring to an earlier/previous speech made by Mahama. Hence the use of the word 'then'. This means 'if Mahama says you should vote for him because of where he comes from, then you could vote for me, because I also come from the North.

So, the title of the article should be, ''Tribal politics how different is Mahama from Ms Ativor?

That would have put the question in a better, and more appropriate context.

President Mahama and almost all his propagandist Ministers & activist have used this to whip sentiments against NPP since 1990s.
Now Bawumia is also calling on NDC to leave their "comfort zone" & go outside Christians to Muslims to field their Presidential tickets.
