Would it not be even more justified to say that Bawumia's was a statement of fact, because it is the case that the NPP tradition has always paired a Christian and a Muslim? Even so, I condemn Bawumia's statement because I don't support any electoral campaign strategy based on sectarian divisions. But in the same way, shouldn't we be condemning Mahama for asking Northerners to vote for him because he is a Northerner? You cited Bawumia's reference to it, but saw nothing wrong with Mahama's own gaffe?
Wherever we stand, let's encourage our politicians to do the right. You can't condone in one what you condemn in another. I find Bokor's intellectual dishonesty disgusting and idiotic!
