And guess what, at the time these secret accounts were showing huge healthy balances-446,000 and GHC 6 million respectively for instance - the official and recognized party account balance was a only GHC 89!
Smelling a rat, Chm. Afoko, invited the Police to come in and unravel all the shenanigans, which in the view of his detractors, constituted a grievious 'crime' or 'sin', if you can believe it.
So ,my dear friend, what I have just told you is what caused Party Chairman Afoko, to be run out of the party! The much talked about talked about internal audit report the current leadership promised to 'shame' and discredit Paul Afoko, has not seen the light of day, and as we speak, these same people are running around soliciting funds from 'Kayayes',to help them maintain their lavish lifestyles! And they keep on disturbing our ears that they are not corrupt, or have never been!

His political career is over. This is a man whose brother killed in his name but never showed any contrition for his brothers actions.

Afoko problem is the party men at party headquarters who were using party funds without any accountability. He mentioned that but you conveniently skipped it. Why?
Is it because Nana Addo is behind these men siphoning party money via another parallel account when the party had an account to use for official transactions?
He mentioned party men who were loyal to Nana Addo making dangerous divisive pronouncements like 'all ga and ewe' should be beaten and killed yet Nana Addo will not allow him to sanction them. Is this right to you? Afoko was rather booted out for trying to bring in accountability and discipline something the Nana Addo himself lacks so if he angry and going on news rampage you cannot blame him. You should blame those who want power yet at too proud to humble themselves for it.
Mind you Afoko is not the only one with this problem in our NPP. There are too many to mention and I think this folks if even they stay away will form a small 1% of the total votes in NPP can have an adverse effect in our upcoming election.
In short Nana Addo is not a good leader else he will find a way to work with Afoko instead of alienating him into this attack dog.
