  Whether it is Presidential candidates of all smaller political parties or just a faceoff/head-to-head showdown between President John Mahama[NDC] and Nana Akufo-Addo[NPP], there is nothing legally compulsory about Presidential debates in Ghana's constitution.
  
  Whatever format or whichever political parties should take part, the IEA cannot compel any party or Presidential candidate to take part, whether in protest or too scared to turn up.

Similarly, it is not mandatory to go on political debate to win power or be elected as a president in Ghana. So leave Haruna alone. For you to even go so low and mentioned plagiarism in your piece as a basis to question Harunas masters degree just shows how poor and petty you can analyse issues.   The IEA has not given any sound reason from deviating from the structure of the last presidential debates.
