By the way, what is more interesting and significant about this latest hit of your is that it took no other person than a Trokosi fine gentleman like you to spearhead the fight against sexual abuse, a canker which - with all due respect - is more prevalent, and has almost become accepted norm in your own Trokosi Backyard. I got your back in this fight.

  I think Ghana needs to elevate the minds of young people to actually deal with REASON at an earlier age than what society dictates. Then you will see more BOLDNESS in them to denounce moral blindness on the part of elders. Thank you.

  Can sexual abuse and rape of underage girls be stopped without tougher and uncompromising law? Our nation is too porous and these crimes will go on unabated because injustices against these vulnerable girls cannot be tracked and the culprits brought to justice.
  
  Ghana is like an open wound. It attracts all sorts of pathogens some of which are very deadly.

  After lights out at a boarding sec sch, the senior housemaster was going through the dark classrooms to check that everything was in order for the night. He flicked on the lights in one of the classrooms only to see one of the boys pumping away on a junior girl. The boy, caught in mid action by the glare of the sudden light, and not knowing what to do, was just looking at the housemaster with the thing still inside. The housemaster also looked at him for some time and said: "Pull it out and don't be silly..."

It was dark and the boy promised to accompany the girl bark to the classroom to retrieve the book. As they reached the door the dark classroom with the boy behind, the girl became hesitant to enter the classroom.

  I hope the focus on young girls and men does not take away from the focus on an equally important sexual predator problem in African communities: the prevalence of female sexual predators, who like males of this sort, perpetuate the menace of psychological difficulty among youths in black communities.
  
  As a preacher, I cannot divulge much about personal testimonies of people. Nonetheless, I can testify of young men who were raped by OLDER women in black communities of North America.
  
  My experience hearing the stories of fatherless young men has led me to see that this occurrence is highly prevalent and even occurs frequently within continental African communities.
  
  Is there any research on this? I would like to read more and see whether my experience validates what I already know are the underlying factors causing this.
