Kuffuor appointed some of the commissioners and went further to appoint a junior judge as the chief justice but all you hypocrites saw nothing wrong and said nothing. Why the double standards? Enough of the ugly noises!!! Please act in the name of God for all shall face HIS judgement. God is watching us all.

Let me tell you lots, we learn from the past mistakes and that is what we called experiential learning. Don't you see anything wrong with how we choose the electoral commissioners compared to the other countries delineated by the author of the article?

  The constitition was made for Ghanaians and mot Ghanaians fir the constitution.
  
  It was drawn by human beings and therefore can not be infallible. In fact that is the main reason why we have a parliament. Contrary to the common view of Ghanaians who think MP are the providers of amenities, the main purpose of the parliamentarians is to ensure that the laws of the country including the main source of the laws (the constitution) serve the interests of Ghanaians and that the constitution is up-to-date for our needs.
  
  And the constitution can be amended by parliament or by Ghanaians as a whole. So if a part of the constitution has been found to be working against the interests of Ghanaians, let us do the rigjt thing and change it.
