What baffles me most is when Rawlings made the remark that, If former President Atta Mills had been wise, he would have lived a little more longer. No body saw anything rong with this remark, but we were in this country when another person said president mahama would drop dead on the sixth March , he was quicklyarrested and was tortured by BNI.
For me, my instincts keepstelling me Rawlings knew something about the death of prof Atta Mills, this revelation that Atta Mills denied him another eight years has intensified my suspicion. Rawlings must be behind the death of the late prof.this is no coincidence. What we would be told is lack of evidence.

A courageous leader who could stand firm against the veiled threats of the West in their attempt to force homosexuality on us. In hindsight I am really shocked that you refer to this as something of any worth for the nation since Ghana already has laws against homosexuality.

Why is Atta-Mills being praised for upholding laws that he already affirmed he would uphold in his oath to Ghana? Is that not part of the job of a leader? Where is the praise in that? Please.

Now, when teh dtractors of Mills were insulting his memory even before he we was buried, I waded in and wrote the Legacy of Mills, which received rave reviews. I highlighted his peaceful, democratic, etc. nature. I had intended to write a follower-up
after an apprpriate time had elapsed but never came round to doing so.

In that Part 2, I had intended out his shortcomings, pointing out some of his "virtues" were not appropriate for governance of a country mired in corruption and lawlessness, leading to the perpetuation of the vile prctices inherited from the Kufuor era.

As for Ghanaian academics, I won't call 99.9% as intellectuals at all! They are intellectually bankrupt and dumb as JJ said. Mills is no exception. An educated person like that who followed TB Joshua lost the plot totally! I've to say though Mahama's performance so far makes me to even yearn to have Mills instead!

Yes, the last person to do post-mortem on Mills should be JJ but, well, the man knows how to shoot off his motor mouth. His attack on we true Nkrumaists, not those turn-coats who have joined the NDC, was totally without merit.

As a law lecturer, in addition to the experience he had aquired as a vice-president, Mills rightly felt he was capable of running the country without taking advice from Rawlings. And he was right. He incurred the displeasure of Rawlings because he didn't allow Jerry Rawlings to run the country by proxy indeed.
