Some like to deny it but the Agaves are indeed part of the Dogbowo, just like the Anlos, who migrated from Notsie. After all, it was their forebear, Togbe Aga, who allegedly was involved in the fight with the kinsman of King Agorkorli and was pronounced dead but actually survived after Agorkoli's kinsman was put to death according to the law, thereby infuriating him. We're therefore not different from each other at all. The split and bad blood that happened because Togbe Aga or his hire refused to bring the war fetish to and re-settle in Anloga, once it was decided to make Anloga the capital, and the Agaves making common cause with the Adangme fugitives that joined them were bad things, resolved centuries ago. That's why the Agave Clan still provide the Awadada to the Anlo Dukor and the Awadada is the next powerful person to the Awoamefia.

Anyway, how do you know that the bloke is an Anlo?

You remind me of an incidence in 1993 at the Obuasi Station at the Kejetia Lorry Park when I thanked profusely a booker and dashed him 500 cedis to buy Coca Cola with for calling me Too Known. Btw, I am not averse at all to discussing intra-Ewe strife, past and present, which of course, in no small measure contributed to turning Eweland into the Slave Coast.
