  Well written. But what you have not told us is what the relationship between France and its colonies is regarding their economic management. Are you aware that La Cote d'Ivoire and the other francophone countries who agree to have to keep up to 40% of all their foreign exchange earnings in France with the French government? What they get in return is that France shores up their economies with figures that make it look like their are doing really well. France subsidises almost everything including utilities. Is Ghana prepared to allow such a system to be applied by a colonial master? Mr Gbagbo wanted this system abolished, in fact he pleaded to have the figure reduced to 20% but this was refused. This is one of the main reasons he was kicked out. If you get the real Ivorians who know the truth they will give it to you. Most of the cocoa farms, cash crop farms, industries are all foreign owned. The indegenes are just participants or onlookers. There is more to it than fgures portray. Get down to Abidjan and the other cites and you will find the divisions - European sector and the African sector. Do you want this in Ghana?
