Just consider this- EU citizens who are not naturalized Brits,except Malta and Cyprus are not allowed to vote in UK national elections and referenda, yet they are all on the UK voters registers lists. What has David Cameron, Jenny Watson or the various councils done to prevent Poles, Lithuanians, BuLgarians,Latvians, Romanians, etc from voting in the forth coming referendum? Nothing. Which council official is going to stand at the polling station to single out EU nationals who have not naturalized from voting-Your guess is as good as mine. So, in terms of electoral fraud or bloated electoral register UK has shot itself in the foot.Cameron, made a threat that EU nationals are not allowed to vote in the referendum but he never put in any system in place to stop that. Why? Where is the deterrent in this advanced democratic country from preventing more than a million non British citizens from voting on such an important issue? Nothing! The fiendish operators here are the Prime Minister and Jenny Watson herself.

I think you have a point. But don't forget the UK system can be policed better than ours. Ineligible voters can be identified through their home addresses and date of birth. In a nutshell, an unqualified voter can be detected ... read full comment

Yes, but the flaw is that the voting cards will be sent automatically to the unqualified EU nationals. And the UK govt is not going to prosecute more than a million individuals after the election.A simple solution is to writ ... read full comment

And the UK govt is not going to prosecute more than a million individuals after the election.A simple solution is to write on the voters cards of Non British/commonwealth citizens "Not valid for voting in this referendum/election. After all, every voter provides their council info about can their nationality. Ghana can do the same by embossing "Not valid for voting" on NHIS CARDS and Driving licences issued to foreigners living in Ghana,instead of spending millions on some Goddamn ID cards when we don"t even have toilets in our cities.
