Can you imagine what these selfish people (NPP, IMANI, media etc) would have said to God if they were to be present when God was creating the World? Even with all His powers He stated gradually and ended spectacularly.

This company is a hoax, and a clear example of create, loot and share. The most shocking and buffoonery of the whole thing is the swift changing of the price of sugar cane, where did they got the GHC60 that they can easily change it like that ? The only way this factory has any chance of success is to mechanized the sugar cane farming to get the sugar cane at very cheap price before any chance of success. And even that the managerial capacity is another issue, the government should rather provide the enabling environment for the private sector. This is going no where.........

Ghana will not move forward because of jealousy, cynicism and the "all-knowing" attitude. We opposed the building of the Akosombo dam, criticized the building of the motorway, rubbished the building of Job 600 and most of the things Nkrumah did because we thought it must be "us" or it is not good. Imani is a backward thinking think-thank that sees negative in everything, and people like Bright Simmons are no different. They are a theoretically minded unprogressive entity full of ego. Mohammed Ali is quoted to have said that you need to take risks into unchartered waters if you plan to progress to the next level. In fact, Ghana's main problem now is the posture and attitude of our intellectuals, most of whom have no significant achievement in support of national development. Most of them are very lazy, self conceited noise makers who desire to attract the sympathy and stipends from ignorant foreign governmenst, organizations and donors. Enough of the nonsense. We shall proceed with Komenda and any such endeavours no matter the difficulties we may encounter. After all, a child does not stop learning to walk because he falls down anytime he attempts at the initial stages. Go away, you doomsayers!!!

Your case will be made if you do a comparative analysis of thw alternatives proferred by the opponents. Just claiming that Nkrumah was criticised does not in itself make his choice the better of then available options.

Well researched and articulated. Most of our Ghanaian journalists are deficient in economic matters. Forgive them, all they want is How to sing the masters praises to get their PAYOLA or whatever they call it.

But some of us were witnesses to the wasteful spending under Kwame Nkrumah. Obour and Kennedy are happy because Mahammah is resuscitating one of the wasteful projects Nkrumah did for political expediency. You remember "Development without Growth"? Do not be dismayed, Bright. We will continue to talk about the wasteful spending of this Government, ans all Governments till one day all of us come to the realization that we have sharp brains in this country to move us forward.
