Yes, Kigali became a melting pot for grandmothers, mothers and children - a memory to relish? When one read through the piece, you find the proverbial kettle calling the pot black. Relishing Kigali but condemning the proverbial the chicken has come to roost? This NPP talks too much about violence. An Ewe staged the first coup with an Ashanti accomplices. The second,third and so forth were all by Akans and never has it been mentioned anywhere as tribal coups. Jerry Rawlings failed in his first coup attempt and it was Boakye Gyan who gave leg and teeth to what became 'this revolution'. A revolution which started executing prisoners of war so to speak. However, a good section of the good people of Ghana striped 'this monstrosity' of its killing venom. It became all embracing: Akans, Ewes, Northners, Gas etc etc. Eminent members who formed the NPP served under the umbrella of the PNDC which was what was left of the 'revolution'. If a black American insults an all-white jury, perhaps he will not be labelled anti-white. When historical data is being presented for current analysis, all facts must be brought to bear and not for the reader to go searching in which case the information presented is intended to mislead.
Do Ashanti's feel marginalised? Killing as in the erstwhile mindless revolution is very painful and simply put, some families never will recover from the scars. Why a Ghanaian peace loving Party that has governed Ghana in the past and still nursing the hope of coming to power again be revisiting Kigali? Who will die and who will be left to be governed?

Now why is it that the same supreme court ruled that:the use of the NHIS carts as an identificstion of a ghanain to register was declared as unconstitutional. therefore, registrants of the NHIS carts should be delited and giving another chance to re-register and that indeed, can not be effected.

THE National Electoral Commission (NEC) handed over 12bn/- to President John Magufuli, which was saved after last year’s general election.

NEC Chairman, Judge (retired) Damian Lubuva handed the cheque to the President at the State House in Dar es Salaam, saying the saving did not in any way affect the polls’ conduct.
“Although we had a short time to prepare, we managed to save such an amount, which did not affect the electoral process at all,” said Judge Lubuva.
Speaking shortly after receiving the dummy cheque for the said amount, President Magufuli commended the NEC for saving such amount and handing it over to the government to cater for other activities of national importance.
“This reflects how NEC is very honest. A sum of 270bn/- was allocated for last October’s polls. They spent 261.6bn/-.
You would have even said that no amount has remained and no one would have discovered or doubted it,” he noted, commending the electoral body ‘’for their sincerity and austerity spirit’’.
He called on other public institutions to learn from the NEC and put the nation’s interests first. The president, has however, directed that the money be used for building NEC offices in the country’s designated capital, Dodoma.
Dr Magufuli’s directive came following Judge Lubuva’s concern that the elections management body was spending over 1bn/- to pay rent, transportation and other expenses.
He also accepted the proposal by the commission of establishing a special fund that will be accumulating money every year for general election purposes.
