We are not growing wiser, we are not growing taller, WE ARE GROWING SHORTER! We are experiencing STUPID-DWARF growth. We have visionless leaders and followers with short memories. Àccra was flooded last year with over 150 SOULS lost on 3 June 2015. After 365 DAYS the "wise" leader gives political talk: "My government has given money for more drainage systems to be built" And the short-memory followers clap their hands, singing his praise. Oh mine, what sort of people are we, living in Ghana? A leader with vision would have given money for more drainage systems long before the 2016 rains started, not in June- the beginning of the rains- long enough for the drainage systems to built before the rains. And followers with long memories would not have applauded to the visionless leader's 'kind' gesture- they would have responded: "Is it not too late?"

You couldn't have said it any better, dear. Our leaders are simply visionless, if not heartless. And how they manage to retain power is what startles me. Perhaps, we are cursed with short memories.

Sure!! We certainly need an eye-opener. We seem to have been blinded by pathetic political fanaticism and conservatism. We need to open our eyes to the reality on the ground.

Interestingly, the situation seems worsening year by year. Now, thirty minutes of what could be classified as normal rainfall in Accra and the Eastern Region is enough to flood the capital. I have always maintained that the best time for investors to assess our business conditions is in June. That is when they will find out that the folks they want to do business with are really stupid as a people.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! Sadly, the investors do not have canoes to navigate through the floods, so they never take a step close to any of the borders of Ghana in the rainy season. Let's pray for our country.
