Sarfo, you are a traitor to Ghana. The president has sworn an oath to protect the property of Ghana, and yet he is giving it away to contractors in exchange for gifts. That is a terrible betrayal of Ghana, and it is the job of good journalists to seek evidence about it and expose it. Congratulate him instead of imputing motives to him.

You see, if you hold no public office there are things you can do that wont raise an eyebrow. When you hold public office however, there are things you cannnot do without raising many eyebrows.
The pres should clearly have known better. Just decline the the present.
Rejecting a present is a cavalier's act that could save you lots of trouble.
There are many competent contractors in Ghana who have been run down by successive govts who couldnt pay them promptly. Why would an ivorian or right thinking Bourkinabe govt hand out a contract of this nature to a foreign contractor. This is akin to shooting yourself in the foot.
This whole saga stinks to hell! After the GEEDA, SADA, and all the lot please just spare us the humiliation. If the contractor is being used as a conduit to siphon funds like Woyome and all the afore mentioned schemes, then God help us.
Why are Ghanaian public servants so SELFISH?
You cant pay salaries of teachers and nurses, yet we buy over 5oo buses for schools ;some of which lack the basic infrastructure for the day to day running of the school.
All projects that make the headlines come at RIDICULOUSLY INFLATED costs. Who are you kidding?
Does the word PRORITIZING mean anything to the guys who populate the offices at the flagstaff house?

He should have distanced himself from that 'crazy' appeasement policy of his predecessor, particularly when these sore-losers showed their hand, by openly declaring that they were going to make the country UNGOVERNABLE, following the SC's rejection of their frivolous and moribund petition! Have these people and their hired guns not kept to their word?
History has shown that "appeasement", as policy option, has never worked; and that nice guys always finish LAST!
Pres John Mahama and his team have committed many serious political blunders, but given what we are witnessing from the completion, I believe Ghanaians would be far better off holding their noses, and giving his team yet another term!
