The President's bribery/gift case can't be compared with that of the judges bcos the former has strong supporters to defend him the judges don't.When you steal & you've strong supporters you can escape.

What I want to know is why this contract was given to a Burkinabe? Afterall that wall was nothing to write home about for the eye-watering sum of money paid. It should have gone to a Ghanaian contractor. Ndc lacks patriotism.

Secondly, it is difficult to prove a case of bribery in the absence of a quid pro quo. Thirdly, the president did not personally benefit from the gift, as the car was turned over to the state by the president. I think the president showed a lack of judgement in accepting the car as a gift. In a country rife with a culture of corruption accepting any kind of gift from a businessman feeds into an unsavory perception.
