This is because he uses a lot of "front wo/men" to supervise his greedy actions. So on the surface, it quite difficult to tie him directly to corruption scandals.

But we all know--whatever happens in the dark--will be revealed. This is clear conflict of interest and Mahama should be ashamed.

His supporters can call it whatever the want--but the stain can never be removed. For the rest of his life--it will be noted here was a president who sold his conscience for a cheap vehicle: Ford Explorer.

Atuguba, the president of the Supreme Court panel that gave the election to Mahama, is from the same North as Mahama. Mahama "settled" Afari Gyan with enough money to make him retire rich. And he promised the same thing to Atuguba, who has already collected part of his gain. After all that, Mahama was exposed by a gift of a car costing not more than $100,000! I mean, a mere $100,000.

What is in a name? Are we witnessing the Sodom and Gomorrah complexities such as what we are currently witnessing in the country today; boldface lies by our political leaders, debauchery, fatuous ingratiation for crumbs of power by Kwesi Pratt and others? Is Ghana the new Sodom and Gomorrah, and do we run the risk of extinction just like the Empire that predeceased us?

You cannot accept even a courteous gift if it is more than a defined bench mark -- perhaps 100 cedis. Even then you have to declare it publicly and donate it to charity. It is not acceptable to accept a gift of substance.

Perception is important. The president does not need such a gift. If so, why must he accept what he does not even need. Leadership and integrity are serious issues and leaders must set the tone through their deeds.

You need to turn your attention instead to the real bribes that President kufuor and his Ministers took from firms that were engaged in bidding on oil exploration and eventual of-shore drilling of oil along the western coast of Ghana. None of you have come out with facts or information suggesting that President Mahama kept the vehicle for his own use. The vehicle was turned over for governmental use, and if you have information to the contrary, then let it out. I'm sure Cameron was well aware of the many financial abuses taking place within the Kufuor NPP administration, yet Camweron not once ever came out to describe or inteprete such NPP misconduct. Or was Cameron's Nigerian friend not alive then to give him adjectives to use in defining or labeling corrupt practices by President Kufuor and his NPP government?
