  It is rather those who were mesmerized when afoko and kwabena won in Tamale who sought to clear them from office. Nobody has forgotten the champagne popping jubilation at the party headquarters immediately after kwabena was suspended.Intriguingly, those who are accusing the Kufour/Alan faction of harbouring an agenda 2020 ,are also far advanced with their own agenda that would make DR Bawumia the automatic heir apparent. Bawumia, to them should be the standby candidate should any mishap happens. With Afoko and Kwabena at the helm of affairs, they think that their plans would be thwarted.They were seen as hindrances hence the daily agitations until they were removed from the Head Office. Any charge against the trio were made up to represent something so that they would be seen as enemies of the party. So far ,the real reasons have been swept under the carpet. "Moles "of the party ,are being trumpeted as the reasons why these fine party people should be rejected. In my opinion, the biggest blunder is the suspension of the only chairman of northern extraction. The NDC is now brandishing a book of their achievements only as a response that they have done nothing in Government, but their biggest votes grabbing weapon is the whipping of tribal Sentiments and not achievements ,and Afoko as chairman ,was the surest way of minimizing the effect of tribal propaganda

  In its hour of desperation, the NPP reached out to Akua Donkor to see if she would be willing to take over as flagbearer of the elephant-riding party since the NPP finally realized it was being sunk by its own flagbearer's cluelessness. Akua Donkor promptly informed the NPP that she was not going to be fooled by the NPP or the PPP, and that not even the offer of new Toyota Tundra would cause her to change her mind. Akua Donkor laughed and wondered why the NPP was now wanting to change riders in mid-course. The NPP answered by stating that clueless Akufo-Addo went to gun range for practice shooting and ended up shooting himself in the foot. Akua Donkor laughed out loud and asked. "which foot, not the foot he's already has in his mouth?" The NPP guy replied that he doe not know, since Akufo-Addo was born with two left feet. No takers yet, and the search continues for the NPP.

  It appears some of us speak with one voice with respect to Kwame Nkrumah, sometimes. So it is, even with the likes of Attorney Dr. Samuel Adjei Sarfo, Dr. Okoampa Ahoofe, etc.
  
  It's all in the record, if they care to be reminded.
  
  But, like Pastor Otabil, more leaders, themselves, must speak up about the Nkrumah's promise and the stolen legacy.
  
  More Ghanaians and Ghana supporters, themselves, must speak up about the Nkrumah promise and that stolen legacy.
  
  It is elementary. If folks truly recognize that Kwame Nkrumah was a human being and not a saint, then, the same folks must condemn the coup that toppled his democratically elected government and stole the Lift-Off of Ghana's industrialization. They must condemn that coup. It will never be too late. It is never too late.
  
  Then, they must accept as bunkum, as fraudulent, that Kwame Nkrumah has anything to do with Ghana's under-development.
  
  We are talking about the Singapore-South Korea vs. Ghana development thesis. That thesis has the names of Ankrah-Kotoka-Afrifa-Harlley-Rascal Busia, and most of the leaders after 1966, including Jerry Rawlings, all written over. And of course the Johnson CIA. It has absolutely nothing to do with Kwame Nkrumah. In fact, it is the reverse that is the real truth: Without the foundation by Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana would have been in a much more hopeless mess, today.
