I thought the British were supposed to be our friends so it was particularly painful when he threw us under the bus with his ultimatum for Ghana to allow gay marriage or be cut out by the British.This at a time when most of the West had not even accepted the concept of gay marriage but he insisted we change over night.He is no friend of us.

Cameron does not want Ghana to have laws that discriminate against homosexuals! How can he not be our friend because of that? And many countries have accepted the concept of gay marriage. Only few have not!

The old have been conned to vote leave without thinking of the future they were going to leave the young men and women who wants to remain in the EU. The future of the youth hangs now in a balance. Shortly after the election Farage made a U turn, denying the £350ml a week that is paid into the EU account would not be available for the NHS. I feel very sorry for the prime minster, but of cause in politics,the best liar wins, in this case the leave camp won.The best we can do now is to brace ourselves for the next stage of shock that would follow.

There are many socialists and communists who also want the UK out of Europe but not for the same reasons as UKIP, Boris Johnson or the other loudmouthed brexiters.

Nobody knows as yet the full implications of the U.K. move. The markets, as a rule, react to such things. The current reactions are relatively mild. Let's see what happens on the European bourses when the markets open on Monday. The Friday reactions were gut ones and it was mid-summer afternoon in many countries.

Yes, Cameron miscalculated, but not exactly because of the reasons Duodu cites here.

silence the Tory Eurosceptics, whose challenges to him in the Huouse of Commons were a distraction to him.But he miscalculated, and now he's gone.

Regarding NIMBYISM, has it not now become a metaphorical "coded" expression to indicate how the Nasties reduce their xenophobic feelings to basics?? Certainly, people too can be in one's backyard? Have you not heard of the gypsy "camping" phenomenon, which many Britons regard as the epitome of European intrusion into British life?
