That is no reason to stay in exile, particularly if you can afford to help Ghana develop, by "coming back."

And when they do, from the policy and governance perspective, the other important question for Ghana and Rawlings is this:

When the Rawlings received those monies to pay the high "Out-of-Nation" school fees from their friends, considering every penny of those monies was income to the Rawlings, did they report those payments and pay income taxes on those funds?

That, to us, is the other interesting question.

The problem with Nana Konadu is that she is so determined to make an impact on the political scene with her NDP that she says anything to try and win support. In the process she is making many mistakes. Unbridled ambition is ruining her. Surprisingly after being rejected by the NDC she is now in bed with Akufo Addo! Why should Nana Akufo Addo warm up to the Rawlings'? In the eyes of the floating voters this is cheap and a no vote winner. Nana Akufo Addo should keep his distance from these people.

The solving of Nana Konadu and Jerry Rawlings's involvement in corruption lies with the indemnity clause in the constitution which needs revoking. We should therefore follow that path and, I believe, Jerry, Konadu and many of their kind will be found out to face the weight of the law. We should not forget that the judges who were caught taking bribes recently are still free without any sign of them appearing before the courts in Ghana. It is a shame because this lack of accountability, which was Jerry Rawlings clarion call during his 29 years in office, underscores the fact that corruption is what Ghabaians are nade of. Wake up Ghanauans!!!!

Is it because of this poor performance that's why his parents refused to help him temporarily .Some fathers will not help their children,but when they succeed they come and boast of being responsible for their children success.?

Someone needs to find the REAL facts if they want to know.

The lady talks too much these days and appear to be bitter against the NDC (But who isn't nowadays), but to lie during interview aired for the whole world to see... There may be some element of truth in what she said.

Rawlings is the bane of Ghana. AFRC, PNDC, AND NDC Governments are the cause of our sufferings. In the political history of Ghana, UP Governments are the best, but people will not accept this simple fact. They practice Western- type government. Look at what Ghana has become, under NDC! They have started using strong propaganda to beguile the people of Ghana to vote for them. They have raised $500Million Eurobond to dissipate among the people for votes. They are turning polytechnics into universities, siting projects in wrong places, extending electricity, constructing roads, providing seedlings to farmers, reducing cost of outboard motors, giving cars to chiefs, etc, etc. They are all ploys to change the minds of Ghanaians to vote for them. What will be your fate if you vote for Mahama for the next four years? Think seriously about this question and vote wisely.

The first step toward wholeness is for us to admit that we are human. No, not perfect; yes, about as flawed as everybody else. Once the knowledge is part of us that we're part of suffering, seeking humanity, a lot of falsehood and turmoil shears away.
There isn't any big secret to protect; there's just you, just me. However different we may appear, we're more than kin. And we can keep each other honest. The habit of honesty, once formed, is harder to break than the habit of lying.
Where do the Rawlingses stand? To keep lying or they will tell the truth for once and live free?

Here's how it happened. When Mr. Sankarah passed away, Mrs Sankarah had a relationship with a white Swiss guy who owns a Jewelry store in Geneva Switzerland. They arranged to have a Partnership with him, but they couldn't get it in writing, because they were smuggling the Country's Gold to him. So the whole thing was just verbally. It was the guy who was funding their Kids ( the Rawlings 's) children . College in Europe. The words part is, the Guy has passed away two years after Mrs Sankarah died. His children has taken over, and because they didn't have any legal agreement between the Rawlings 's and the guy, his kids have cut ties with them. Mrs Sankarah is deceased so they could not take any action against them.

Ghana for you! When Nana Konadu was being tried for corruption and related financial crimes, the ndc and its supporters were always in court to intimidate the judges. They described the trials of Nana Konadu as political persecution. After the ndc won power in 2008, Nana Konadu was pardoned by the outgoing president, Kuffour.
When Prof Mills was sworn into office in 2009, the Rawlings' thinking they could push the good old Prof around failed in their bid.Prof Mills stood his grounds leading to the Rawlings' breaking ranks with the ndc and its big shoots.
They became anti- corruption campaigners all of a sudden. The npp defended the Rawlings' and became their friends. The Rawlings' became the reference point for the npp propaganda in the 2008 electioneering campaign which they eventually lost that election.
My point; lets be wise Ghanaians. We ve allowed useless partisanship to destroy our reasoning. If we were smart people, the Rawlings' should not ve been talking any longer. I rest my case.
