For years a lot have been made appealing to the Regional Sports Authorities to fight for the need to build a Sports Stadium for Sunyani.This Region has contributed immensely to Sports in Ghana. All what we need is to provide a Stadium to honour those personalities from the region who have contributed to the Sports in Ghana. Today most of then have already already left this World in without not being honoured. TIME is going for those who are left, I sometime ago pop into Kwasi Owusu of Tano Bofoakwa fame, and the look into his eyes , tells you that he and other colleagues of his days have been forgotten. We have failed them as a Country. Why? Time will tell. I'll come back again.

GFA needs to admit there are problems and sit down and work out how to solve the problems. but they don't want to because they will have to lose their nice little earners! If they were for the people and for football and the players and for the country and the flag, they would put aside their personal greed and short sightedness and realise more can be achieved by cleaning up their cancerous organisation in the long run. stadiums can be built, facilities upgraded. More people playing and benefitting because it's only when they clean up and look transparent that BIG business and BIG sponsors can step in to support efforts instead of expecting the Minister and the Ministry to find Lots of taxpayer's money (bearing in mind people don't pay their taxes!), to fund everything. If we want things to get better, we ALL have a responsibility to do the right thing and stop witchhunting a Minister who's trying to do it by himself. It is not right to pull this kind of intimidating cheap trick to fire a warning shot that he will be personally responsible for dozens of athletes performing badly or coming up short especially given that they receive millions of cedis in support already and should have NO EXCUSE!
