If we keep it at the level of just chart and popularity warfare within the context of music as a commodity, then that is fine entertainment.OUR PERFORMING ARTS PROFESSORS AND SOCIOLOGISTS IN OUR UNIVERSITIES SHOULD ANALYSE THESE TRENDS FOR US AND WARN OF ANY BAD INFLUENCES.

I am a country music fan. I listen to rap cos of obrafour. But I hate it when some people (eg. okraku mantey) make is sound like all those who love sark are dump cos they are not deep. Eiiii, cos I can't like what you like I'm dump? And not just me but the majority of Ghanaians and the world? As the writer said.. "they have painted him as a crass braggart, a miserably unintelligent buffoon , who has only chalked all the success over the years because his songs are loved by people of his kind- dumb, ill-educated, primitive and classless"... What has our professors of today done better for Ghana than those with middle school certificate of the past? They got roads that lasted years (Tema motorway) a difference we can't even maintain? I have certificates but it is not the evidence of talent and wisdom. It only disciplines your mind but my village elders are wise even without Degree cert to show. Let's give honour to those who deserve it. The best car of today will be the worst car of tomorrow but at present, it is the best that's why we pay top cedi for it. The best is the best. the masses are not soo dump as some would make us believe. Let the best be seen but not insulted. Sark has lifted Ghana to places manifest is yet to take Ghana and if it is because he's dump, hmmmm let the end justify.

The answer is , one is unique when he or she is himself but not trying to do what the rest of the world is doing .His twi rap is wack but it paved way for him to be where he is ..Sorry but if you saying twi rap then you only referring to those who are doing it in our country as wack rappers .People can be carried away by anger and make mistakes .
