  I agree 100% with your views both artist should allow their work speaks for them. we love them both and we don't want this to go on again. As for Mike Okraku Mantey the least said the better.

  Sankofa, this is an insightful view, clearly outlining the strength and weaknesses of the two celebrated personalities in this rather needless and unfortunate explosion on our entertainment front today. Good work done as a good craftsman in terms of good writing and using good comparing and contrasting views. Point of correction though, there is a difference between the words 'artiste' and 'artist'.The former is a noun used for a musician, it could be gospel, dance-hall, rap, highlife name them. The latter on the other hand also a noun, is used for a person who uses his or her hand with good appreciation, combined with dexterity, craft/create, design /draw thereby adding aesthetic values to objects. Thus in your article, the repeated use of 'artists' is supposed to have been artistes.
