The demonstration is a symbolic marker for the honour of womanhood. This is notwithstanding the fact,as you rightly point out, that women do use sex to get their way through things. It is a matter of principle. Even if some of the demonstrating women, themselves, used sex to get things, they still have the right to demonstrate against what they perceive as an affront to womanhood by Agyapong's statement. Indeed, even if IT IS TRUE that Charlotte screwed her way to the job, these women still have the right to demonstrate against Agyapong and demand an apology. It is for womanhood - all women including all the ugly women who cannot sleep their way to a job or good grades or whatever. It is the principle, SARPONG!

You are also wrong in saying that the solution is for Charlotte to sue Agyapong. Charlotte does not have to sue Agyapong. The women cannot also advice or make her sue. Charlotte has (you may say wisely) decided to ignore Agyapong, just as Akufo-Addo also decided to ignore all those making the unproven allegations about him.

The argument that they didn't demonstrate on other such issues is also irrelevant. They don't have to demonstrate in the past in order to assume the moral right to demonstrate in the present. This is not a legal decision that makes reference to judicial precedence.

So you can castigate the women for demonstrating but not for the reasons you give here.

A short time later the waitress returns with the order.

"That will be $9.40 please," and the man reaches into his pocket and pulls out the exact change for payment.
