  The President has the authority to step in and let his wayward IGP understand that there's no rationale for banning social media during elections, nor does he have the authority to do. Because the IGP has consistently made it clear that he intends to ban social media, the News Media and other interested groups need to immediately drag the loudmouth IGP before the court to obtain an order restraining him from taking such action while challenging his authority to do so.
