Iam a loss to see how the existence of what can clearly be seen as 'control documents', would provide avenues for actual or potential fraud! And how could any of these control documents be derived, except from a source document, which is the voters' register itself?
Yes, the prior release of these various 'control documents' to party agents for cross-checking against existing voter lists is very critical, I fail to see how the mere entry of the number of names shown on these secondary documents onto the PINK SHEETS should pose any serious problem, and become an avenue for election rigging!
In this era of name deletions and e-registrations, I believe there could be serious confusion coming from irate voters who do not find their names on the VR at the various polling stations. Hopefully, these control document should help senior EC officials in resolving some of these problems. And except certain EC officials are criminally minded, and are determined to undermine the process, by not strictly adhering to laid out protocols, the raising of red flags at this time, is merely a false alarm! Everybody involved in the upcoming elections now understands the need for VIGILANCE; and that the ballot can only be won at the polling station, with everybody watching, and not in a smoke-filled 'strongroom' at the EC head offce!

Electoral fraud can be perpetrated either through ballot stuffing or data manipulation. If the agent at the polling station has to deal with multiple documents as well as observing what goes on, I am afraid you are underestimating the work involved and the opportunities afforded for fraud. I like the proviso you gave that, unless the EC officials are criminally minded. Probably you know that they are saints. Otherwise you do not leave the plugging of loopholes to the good heart of public officials. In this case, the officials are temporary. So asking that the relationship of the secondary lists be clarified is not alarmist but a call for loopholes to be plugged.

Some of you can't use your head and only interested in creating an impression that some rigging is eminent but wait the nation erupts into violence and see if the destructive forces that occur in times like that know which party a person supports.
You can be for a party and lose your property to the same party angry mobsters.

All the concerns raised so far are genuine. Charlotte refusing to execute due diligence till she was dragged through the courts. The plan to prevent people from communicating with each other with a ban on social media even though there is no shred of evidence that it will prevent chaos and finally the use of drones by only a select few to monitor and plan movement.
The who issue has become The people versus The Mahama government. So do not tell us that some create the impression that rigging is imminent.
What would you say the afore-mentioned activities are geared towards?

The problem with the article however is that you started from a wrong supposition which beclouded your write up throughout. You assumed that what ever mistake or administrative error that occurred during the last elections influenced the outcome of the last election,if it so then you are wrong.
The last elections was won fairly by the ndc and if it were not for the chicken hearten sc that petition would not have seen the light of day,in fact it should have been thrown out as frivolous and unmeritorious.Any flaws arising was because of either administrative or the illiteracy of personnel and so these are the areas which must be addressed.
It is better to concentrate on vigilance and openness and transparency throughout.Voters must be seen to follow the process and know everything from beginning to the end of pronouncing the results instead of a perfect documentary setup.
What is important is the integrity of the elections and with the media and observers and the vigilant electorate I don't see where your fears lies.Election are won at the ballot box and to insinuate that paper work could change the outcome is a fallacy.

The EC has let it be known that it was simplifying things to minimise the errors that came to light in 2012. I'm making my comments in terms of this aim.

They believe they have the high ground now. They answer to no one, take what they want when they want with no compuctions.
This is their time and they are walking through the blood, sweat and the tears of the suffering masses. The cries of the hungry children and the the pain of the elderly.
There is oil, mineral deposits, energy, yet public sector workers are out of jobs, businesses collapsed etc, etc. It looks like something out of an Apcalypse.
