  If those fools and their supporters believe they were engaging in their freedom of speech rights, why then did they plead guilty? What did they plead guilty to? Why didn't they defend their rights in court by pleading not guilty?
  
  Having an intelligence discourse with Ndc people has become an exercise in futility because they lack basic analytical skills.
  
  You accept that you are guilty and plead for lenient sentencing but when you get the punishment you were not expecting, all of a sudden then you complain about your freedom of speech rights had been trampled upon, what kind of fools are these people?

  It so amazing the level of ignorance and uttermost stupidity even in the media and the population at large. How obtuse and irresponsible could the media be to misinterpret threats made by the Montie 3 buffoons as free speech.
  
  The right to free speech is not absolute, nor should it be. No one with a frontal lobe would mistaken the Montie 3 threats to the judges as free speech, but then of course, not many people have a frontal lobe in the country.
  
  To quote Martin Luther King, Jr. "Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity."
  
  Threatening to kill is a criminal offence, not free speech and these fools at Statesman must understand it.
  
  Here is the general rule about free speech: 1) Your right to free speech stops when it infringes upon someone else's rights. The Montie 3 have a right to free speech, but they cannot threaten someone. Their rights to free speech stopped when they started issuing threats to the justices. It is considered a criminal offense; 2) You have a right to free speech, but you cannot say lies about someone's character, if you do you will be sued for defamation of character; 3) You have a right to free speech, but you cannot incite a riot and cause injury to others. This will be a criminal offence.
  
  As long as you restrict your right to free speech to comments or conversations, without threatening someone with violence, or inciting riots and telling lies about others, you will be in the ambit of free speech.
  
  This is what the media should educate the largely ignorant Ghanaian population, but not to mislead them.
