The polarize nature of the decision which to many comes across as too harsh might end up with unintended consequences. Fiery radio programs had been the bane of the opposite radio stations the left and right wing radio station.To make a harsh example of a conditional threat with no possibility of carrying out must be a travesty of justice.

They could be punished without the imprisonment.A fine or conditional discharge and a warning could have achieved the desired result.But as it looks now,it is as if the left wing media is being stifled to give advantage to the right wing press who dominate the air space anyway.

No wonder the solidarity pouring in for the sacrifice of the three whose unbridled fiery language has put them in trouble.Of course the radio stations were vying for who could be more fiery so a general warning with consequences could have suffice this time.

When an armed man whet to shoot at Mahama at church, the NPP machinery came out he was deranged. The court set the guy free. When montie ran their mouths, the prosecutor the jury and the judge (SC) quickly threw them into jail. Herein lies the hypocrisy.
Anyone who means to murder anybody will not be pre bragging about it unless the person has problems upstairs.
The supreme court's rulings lately have left sour taste in people's mouths and that does not bode well for peace in the country. A country where judgement is determined by the size and colour of aponkye or the prostitute who shows up before the gavel is struck.
It should not take threats on judges for our system to be sanitized. Kennedy Agyapong is walking free. Kofi Jumah is walking free.
Wontumi is walking free.
Aboa apapo is walking free. The list goes on and on. Wontumi does not even bother to show up at court when his case is called.
