Sam George has a similar character so he knows one day it will happen to him hence his plead for their release, a situation which can never happen. It is frightening the way these 'let the blood flow boys' are protesting the imprisonment of the convicted muntie 3 .It is surprising the NDC moved by some of their violent leaders are calling on the president to release them for apparently no reasonable cause. But I know if he does, he will have to be in court to try all other cases from then on all by himself.

NDC is not JJ Rawlings. There was AFRC and the PNDC which were all military Juntas. Former President Kufour and Justice Anang, Kwesi Botwe and notable personalities contributed their quota during PNDC. The AFRC was styled a revolution which saw the murders of former Head of States and everybody seem to think it was only Judges.

When junta members without any real affiliation spewing unfounded corruption allegation on a sitting President, we have to sit up because it amounts to prayers to some half-baked revolutionists.STOP INSULTING the President. During his term, he has done a lot in four years compared to all his modern predecessors bar Dr Nkrumah. I personally get encouraged when he asked the citizenry to contrast his 2012 Manifesto with what he has achieved for the country.

The NDC of His Excellency has not got the endorsement of former Prez JJ Rawlings ironically although the founder of the Party albeit a Democratic Party. They never took to the streets nor arms when they lost both the 2000 and 2004 elections.

The discussion of the Panellists were completely taken out of context. An eminent Lawyer, Sam Okudjeto was making reference to the President's funeral which although could be understood was made whilst attacking others talking about a perceived bias in decisions been made in favour of the NPP.

There are functionaries in the NPP who will not hesitate to draw the sword WHEN THEY LOSE the 2016 election. If the EC is denigrated, then there could be reason to resort to evil "give the dog a bad name and then hang it". We are already hearing of some names deleted which will disenfranchise the NPP.

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama is poised for landslide victory.

We have seen the UP, The PP and the NPP. It is not a new Party. The likes of Sam Okudjeto who look down on every individual below some imaginary line they have drawn. By insulting legislators, the electorates are being insulted.

Is it really justice to appear before a Judge knowing that "your reference to 'funeral' will never be allowed to be defined? The Judges sitting threw out the legal axiom "innocent until proved guilty". For this contempt of Court came to be so that accused will not be tried in the media before their case is head. If saying just anything against Supreme Court Judgement is Contempt, then WELL, it will be painful for a nation that start from JHSS name-calling their Teachers, Headteachers and Principals. Soon it is the President.

Putting them in prison for four months would not stop them from carrying that threat if they really mean it because they can carry it out after their release. Even their imprisonment will let them have more hatred to commit the offence. The only way to stop them is to give them life imprisonment. The laws doesn't give permission to the criminals in the Ndc party to threaten our supreme court justices with impunity because they have the backing of their party executives. Ghanaians still remember how some criminals from this same P/NDC brutally murdered our justices and an army officer in 1982. Those stupid idiots were lucky to get away with the criminal contempt charges thanks to the Ndc 's AG. They should have been jailed for much longer than only four months.

President Mahama should SACK all the 7 Supreme Court Judges who sat on the Abu Ramadan case involving the NHIS cards. The primary role of the Supreme Court is not the making of laws. Law/ legislation is the sole prerogative of Parliament. Parliament passed a law in 2010 that the NHIS cards could be used for identifying Ghanaians for voter registration purposes and in 2012 some people used it as such. Then in 2016 the Supreme Court knowing very well that out 1992 constitution forbids RETROACTIVE laws nullified the law passed by parliament on the use of NHIS cards. In order to cover up their misdeeds asked the EC to re- register those whose genuine registration had been nullified! So who is who in the making of laws: Parliament or the Sipreme Supreme Court?.Admittedly, the Supreme Court in their rulings make minor laws which should be followed by the other courts ( stare decisis) but those laws are not superior than those made by the law making body, parliament. All these Montie saga was originated by the Supreme Court. We were all at peace with each other until this retroactive legislation by the Supreme Court. We should not allow the Supreme Court to plunge Ghsna into war during the election. President Mahama should therefore sack all the judges including the CHIEF JUSTICE who
made that retroactive unconstitutional law which has brought us into this crisis.

The seriousness of the threat of death is that the threat was not issued among themselves, but on "AIR" to the hearing of not only Ghanaians, but beyond our borders. We should call a spade a spade please. We should be civil in all our dealings. The Rule of Law is "Reasoning Without Passion"

Can't we agree to disagree and vice versa ? Should we all think the same way ? Can't we have discourses with civility and decency ? What is wrong with someone saying judges are fallible ? If judges were infallible, then the appeal option should be abolished from our judicial system. Did we or did we not give opinions on Anas's exposé on the judges quite recently ? From the way we going, in the not too distant a future, the only thing that will not be politicised will be the air we breathe and the food we eat. Is this the way our we want to practise and build our democracy ? Lord have mercy on Ghana the way we are going.

The President's prerogative of mercy is exercised for the benefit of persons duly convicted of offences under the law but have served a reasonable part of their sentence, shown good behaviour, ill-health, etc. Prerogative of mercy is not evoked to cure mistakes of judges. The appeal (or in this case the review) system is the appropriate intervention to correct mistakes, as you put it, by judges.

John Ford is contemptuous word for the Nation's President especially when he has told the world of which Ghana is part what process the Ford went through. We do not believe him and we have called him names. If one of our kind does not believe a Judge, that will be Contempt. I put it to you: In undemocratic societies insulting a sitting President but cannot insult a sitting Judge will be difficult to pass. Sammy (baby face) George is not condoning the act. If a man says to his fellow man: "I will kill you in an open just after a fight" (4 months jail sentence and a GhC10,000 fine?) Is that what Ghana will be waking up to? Are all equal before the Law and Constitution of Ghana? Will the Police not laugh at a commoner should he/she report such a threat? Give the young man the credit he deserves for telling it as it should be.
