This is great but the fact is that probably the swimming federation has been very helpful co operative and compkiant with this dad to help get his son this far. Unfortunately the Federations work against the talent on many many occasions if there is nothing in it for them personally ie the presidents. wELL DONE TO FATHER AND SON FOR MANAGING TO WORK ROUND ALL THIS AND GET THIS FAR BECAUSE THAT'S THE HARDEST THING IN gHANA ACTUALLY NAVIGATING TGHE HURDLES OF THE fEDERATINS AND THEIR SELFISH VESTED INTERESTS. This boy cannot do that well if his coach is not a swimmer and has never been in the water. I've never heard of such a thing! Surely he has another coach? Also he has to hurry up if he wants to make it to the big league because swimming is a sport that peaks very young ie by 19 you're over your best times. So he has 2 or three years to go abroad and train really hard. I checked his times, not that great but the point is it's still really great that he's got this far and is representing the flag of Ghana. HURRAY!!
