  Critical enough essay, until we get to the end where Mr. Kwame Ohene Asare falls short of practicing what he is preaching.
  
  What's the purpose in ending this essay with a quotation from the Bible when your essay is about Ghanaians and their un-reflective attitude towards "spirituality?
  
  (Recall that the essay actually begins with a quotation in a similar vein, which itself can be forgiven given the context and purpose of the essay).
  
  But the last sentence....NAAH!!!!!!!
  
  This fine essay ought to have ended with:
  
  "...Let us as a people, rely more on what we have control over as against that over which we clearly don’t have control", period!
  
  That is OUR opinion, and Mr. Kwame Ohene Asare is of course entitled to his. (And we have quite a body of work on this subject, too).
  
  By the Way: "Reverend Peter Barker, a British minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana who lived in Ghana throughout the Nkrumah years,.." only had 25% of the facts.
  
  ITEM: Kotoka, Ankrah, Oto and Harlley were NOT the main masterminds behind Nkrumah’s overthrow. They were merely puppets! As were the others in the Matemeho party who also sold Ghana to those foreign interests by doing the bidding of the Johnson CIA and administration.
  
  Every Ghanaian ought to know and understand that "fact" of Ghanaian history.

  Puppets of whom? That has always been a case of mere conjecture from adam's time. Simply because the coup has inured to the benefit of someone it must be him that did it. Please advise us of the evidence you are relying on.
