If you know the VR at all, you'd know that a sizeable proportion of the indigenous pop. are of the Akan stock, besides the myriad of other ethnic and linguistic groups there. Akans therefore head many institutions in the VR, including Akans from outside the VR.

Then we have others who are of Akan and Ga-Adangbe origins who have been assimilated and use Ewe names or Akan or Ga names, who identify themselves with Ewes even though culturally they still have a high dose of Akan or Ga culture. That's the situation of many such people in the southern VR to Togo. So Ga descents in Togo celebrate Homowo instead of Ewe festival and still give Ga names to their children, just like many found among the foreign clans in Anlo. Some of these people are even high chiefs among us. The MP of Ketu South is Fiifii Kwetey and the MCE is called Lamptey. Are they Ewe names?

And there are many, many non-Northerners heading institutions in the North of Ghana.

If you NPP bigots haven't created the filth, no one will be throwing them at you now.

Now my question is that after debasing the whole tribe which also forms about 60% of Ghana population, are you going to empower your own law abiding non-Akans to break away from this evil war mongering and tribalistic Akans or you are still hoping to live with the devil? Ask yourself how this garbage you have spewed here will help convince the Akans that we as a country need to forge ahead in unity? The problem with non-Akans is that a lot of them continue to exhibit residual inferiority complex handed down from their ancestors due to tribal wars in the past. It is also true, rather unfortunately, that some Akans do show some very reprehensible attitudes when dealing with other tribes. However, to paint this grotesque picture of all Akans as people with genocidal tendencies only add to the narrative that the Akans should leave the union and form their own country. You are not helping to find solutions to the problem in any way.

Whether you like it or not, Akans are the face of Ghana due to their sheer numerical advantage. Your hatred will never going to let them kowtow to your whims and caprices.
