  I do agree with you (a first!)-- that given the state of our health system, Dr. Abdulai will get better treatment outside of Ghana. You could have used your medium to appeal for this, instead of making this another political rant.

  Instead of suggesting that we should build a medical infrastructure that will be at par with the one you enjoyed, 31 years in your sojourn, you are suggesting they fly the doctor out of the country. Ghana has a medical school and a teaching hospital in the north-tamale. Why should Accra-37 Military hospital be the savior of ALL sick individuals. 37 was build to take care of the military families. Our governments should rather invest and invest in all regional hospitals so that we will no longer have individuals who are sick from afar being sent to 37 or Korlebu. If we can find money to airlift dollars to the Black Stars that have not won any major title in yeon years, we can find money to build and equip our hospitals. I am sorry the mad doctor has been put in this situation. The problem we have is bigger than the mad doctor.
