  Teachers are expected to have time to teach the students well, answer all the questions the students ask, give the students a lot of class exercises, mark all these exercises and discuss the marking scheme with the students. Upon all these, the teacher is to cover all the topics in the syllabus before the students write the WASSCE. If all these can be done within 3 years, without the students embarking on extra classes to supplement the classroom work, then the 3 years should be maintained, and vice versa.

Then 6th form...from the age of 16-18. Even in the field of academia, Ahoofe, can excel himself by distorting facts. I detest the new education system in Ghana which was the brain child of another hopeless academic called K A Busia. The old system was better.
