If we are not careful, all the youth will be deviants, since no one will use the rod on them.

I can not faulter the Bible on several counts; how one understand or interprete the various articles and clauses is what motivate some pastors to foolishly do what they do. And since our Constitution, vis-a-vis the Courts, wholesomely recognize the tenets of the Bible, no Court can punish Obinim, the useless fornicator, who double as a founder cum leader of a Church.

Any attempt to drag him to Court would render the First Ammendment of our constitution useless. As far as we know, spanking at our schools is what has been outlawed. What we don't know, however, is whether that declaration was supported by any constitutional instrument. The churches have bylaws besides what the bible teaches. The only way to have Obinim punished is when there is enough proof that he violated the governing antics of his church, or the tenets of the bible which is upheld by the church's embodiment . For instance, a member dragged the ass of NPP-USA, Massachusetts chapter to the Court. The presiding judgeof the highest Court asked the dude whether the Chapter has bylaws, of which he answered in the affirmative. He was the asked whether he tried to settle the issue with the Council of elders, and he answered in the negative. The judge did not waste five monies to thrown him out of the court., citing that he need exhaust all avenues of redress before proceeding to the Court. Cost was awarded against him for wasting everybody's time. This should have been a lesson for Paul Afoko.

Similarly, until the church decide to drag the assignment of the 'Snakeman'(Obinim ) to court, any attempt by the Oye Lithurs and the lawyer 'no-whoo-teys' will never fly.

However, I am aware that in Ghana, it's one's position and not the law that talks so Obinim may never be prosecuted. That will not happen in any civilised society because he would definitely be prosecuted.

BUT, the barbaric aspect of it is doing it in public in the full glare of people is not acceptable. Think of the psychological trauma being unleashed on them. No one is claiming that what the kids did was right but the way the punishment was meted out was wrong.

There is this so called girl called Diamond Appiah who have the nerve to post a recorded audio and insulted people reprimanding this illiterate Obinim. As you rightly asked,what did he Obinim did when he slept with one of his junior's pastor's wife? Obi in should have been castrated. There so many foolish, criminals, men of gods as well as dirty celebrities parading themselves in the country. Thank God I don't live in the country to witness these nonsense daily. It's only in Ghana and some African countries that these acts can go on like that. It boils down to poverty and ignorance. As the bible says, "He/She without a sin should cast the first stone". Ghanaians should wake up and smell the coffee. If people have well meaningful jobs they will not be ascribing everything to which craft and follow these fake men of gods. It's lack of education, jobs,which leads to poverty, inadequate health care and resources. How many graduates in well paying jobs go to these churches. These so called men of gods are doing business. They sit in comfortable chairs like kings and the church members sit on hard plastic chairs. Give me a break. I thank God that I have the opportunity to live outside the country and enlightened , otherwise I might have been a victim.

What Obinim did to these young people, especially, the pregnant girl was unacceptable and downright child abuse. Its only the cult followers who'll defend his barbaric action.

The moral degeneration and aberrant acquiescence of evil, in the Ghanaian society is mind boggling and a recipe for disaster. The typical Ghanaian has no conscience - they cannot discern right from wrong, or what is legal from illegal. It is any thing goes in that country.

Punishing Obinim by using the law would seem to many in authority to be doing the devil's work! After all, it has been revealed that a criminal like T B Joshua has special relationships with the Police Service, oiled by no less a person than a judge (who has now left the judicial service over corruption allegations.)

Watch how Obinim dresses -- top fashion, no less. Where does he get the money from? Snake vomit?
