Ohh the very reason why Goski constantly chases renown scholars who can help the academic image of that university ,with her fake SMC doctorate.Come that university is not for Alabi or their family but public university for Christ sake.most ghanaian scholars from Warwick business school, Machester business school,university of reading just to mention a few,seeking to come and lecture in upsa are all rejected because of goski alabis we can not cook it foer others to come chop philosophy forcing the other vulnerable lecturers to emulate by pursuing her fake SMC doctorate. With websites advertising for all kinds of faked certificates from O'Level to Degrees with transcripts to go along with them from any university of ones choice, this Report is just a wake up call for the authorities to wake up and start policing the system.
As for the other dodgy operators remaining silent, what else do you expect? Some are just Internet addresses, or addresses at top of shops. A-Bucket University, Canterbury which awarded the PhD to the impostor from Logba, ex-Commissioner of Police of the VR, Patrick Agboba claiming to be Awoamefia of Anlo with NDC support doesn't even exist at any address.

Your cause is not only a defense of the PhD, but the whole institution of knowledge construction. It is not for nothing that the two of you are needed at a time like this! It is a call to duty, call to step up to be counted, and a call to shape the course of history of higher education in Ghana.Anyone conversant with the PhD process appreciate what you are talking about.It takes an average of one year to critically engage with the literature as a full-time PhD student.The someone is 'awarded' a PhD ( online) within one and half years!!! In all this, the Ghanaian media has disappointed the nation. The rigour of critical and inquisitorial skills in disappointingly missing in journalism. It took Stephen Sucker of the BBC to interrogate a major policy plank ( albeit a fine policy) of an opposition leader,and took him off guard. Where was our media? The media is quick to reference people as PhDs without any basis except to say that the person has them (media) to refer to him/her as such. Furthermore,the media has consistently projected a narrative that prefixing a name with 'Dr' makes one a special/ elevated or superhuman in our society. It is a tragedy of Shakespearean proportion!!

Was this the best solution? What next after the appointment of the pro-vc and the damage caused? If the program is ACBSP accredited as in the news, does that make his doctoral research & credentials invalid in this regard? If valid, does that make the new vc illegible for appointment to that high office because of institutional accreditation in the Swiss context?
Should the ACBSP not have accredited the programs although they were satisfied with the institutional arrangements of the SMC?
Is ACBSP accredited programs unwholesome to the Swiss, although acceptable to the rest of the world in spite of the peculiar institutional accreditation concerns of swiss-based private universities.
With the SMC as a single case, why not review and incorporate the perspective of Swiss accreditation, i.e. the accrediting procedure of the Swiss educational regime to underscore the SMC's case in context than limiting it to the US & UK where the institution was not legally established?
The methodological coherence on the SMC is not tight; a bit of concern on the resulting recommendation in this regard.
But, let see what happens next. It looks like most scholars are not ready to come-out for a debate on this. Dotse & Tsikata (2016) can create a public forum towards the debate.
I will end by asking the question, who is a scholar?, i.e. considering the role of the products of the SMC in the debate.
