Nii has made very salient points but this is more like window dressing, without tackling the root cause. Both parents of the victims claim Obinim has taken care of their needs for years after they were abandoned to suffer by relatives and society, made up of Christians. The same Bible tells us to be our brother's keeper. The same Christ tells us that "whatever we do for our brothers and sisters on earth, we do for him". So by inference Obinim is doing something Christlike. Which of the people lambasting Obinim has offered to take care of the victims? I don't support the "Bishop" and I believe his behaviour was disgusting, but let's be fair in our approach. Why judge him if you just quoted yourself, that we judge not.

Note that, Obinim chose to take care of this family when they were in trouble. That is very fine with him, but does that give him the license to abuse them on national television? Ooooh No,
You have already quoted from the Bible that "whatever we do for our brothers and sisters on earth, we do for him". If Obinim has read this quotation he should have known that whatever happens is up to that God to decide. We do not do favours with the idea of receiving favours back as Christians. No one is judging Obinim, but like Nii said if he has done this in his house no one would have said anything because as Ghanaians we all know these happens in almost every household. Dirty linen should be washed at home not in public; once that happens you give the public the opportunity to talk about your home without getting there.
As a pastor he should have known better. Disciplining anybody in the church and on National Television is not acceptable to society. Period!!!!!!! If I were him I would have apologized. This is what real pastors will do.
